What AlongFor is
AlongFor is a utility for creating small local plans and inviting others to tag along. Instead of scattering coordination across WhatsApp groups and DM threads, hosts post a single shareable card — then approve who joins.
Why we built it
Too often small plans — a kayak trip, a supper club, surf at dawn — never happen because the group fizzles out before it starts. AlongFor keeps the signal high and the friction low: you share a link, the interested reply with a short note, and you decide who comes. It is deliberately lightweight — not another social feed, not another calendar — just a better way to get small groups out the door.

AlongFor is a pilot built in Devon, UK. We seed with real local plans and iterate in the open. The service is currently in beta — features may change, be removed, or break as we learn what works.
